I made both of these cards as birthdays.  I think they would look great as Thinking of you, Get Well or even a Sympathy card.  For this first one I used shades of orange and red markers to give it that varied look.   A simple burgundy bow on the side and its all finished.  On the inside I added another dahlia just peeking from the bottom of the card.

For my second card, I made it as a peek a boo card.  The dahlia is on the inside of the card. I added a small birthday sentiment and then added an extra panel on the back so you can write more if you wanted to.

This is a nice cheerful type of card, who wouldn’t want a bouquet of daisies. I first embossed the background with a diamond pillow pattern and then started adding daisies to the pocket.  although this is a birthday card it would make a great thinking of you or get well card as well.  The sentiment on the inside says,”Celebrating a special day with a special wish for a very special person.”  I then added a couple more flowers in the lower right corner to finish the card off.

For this card I first stamped out a few carnation flowers

and then colored them in with blue, yellow, and pink markers. I added a simple background so that it would not distract from the flowers.

For the inside I used a sentiment that would make the recipient smile. “Hope each moment of your day is as special as you are.”
