    Tropical Birthday

Paper Pumpkin from Stampin Up has such wonderful products that you can use to create cards or scrapbook pages or gifts.  This is a subscription product that you get once a month delivered right to your door for around $22.00 plus tax.  I subscribe to this program and have loved all the things I can make from just a few simple items.  You always have a stamp set which is yours to keep and there is always more then enough product in the box so that you can create other items with the leftovers.

This card was created using some of the items from the June 2020 kit. I call my card tropical because it reminds me of Hawaii. The picture is a little hard to see but I used gold embossing ink on the flowers and added a couple of iridescent sequins for some sparkle.

    An Old Fashioned Drink

I made this card with men in mind. Although I made this as a birthday card it would be great as a retirement card too.

It is an old fashioned whiskey decanter and glasses.  I thought by adding the darker brown cardstock underneath the decanter and glasses that it would give the illusion of a shelf.

I colored the decanter and glasses with ink and added a little shine to the ice cubes by coloring them with wink a stella.

    Father’s Day Hat and Tie

Well Father’s Day is almost here and celebrations are beginning again.  As the states begin to reopen we still need to keep social distancing in mind for our own health, as well as, our loved ones.

This is created with mainly two colors of ink so anyone can recreate it.  I used night of navy and crumb cake inks.

I first stamped the background stamp that looks like tire treads.  The next step is to stamp the words “Happy Father’s Day,” on white cardstock and trim them out.

I then stamped the hat, tie and shoe on different pieces of scrap white cardstock and trimmed each one to either a square or rectangle.

For the last piece of detail I added some blue and white twine and added a simple bow at the top.
