Welcome to my site. Look around and see if you like any of my creations.
I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale.
Don't forget to leave a little message as you pass on by.

For the end of the month I thought I would post both of these cards since they are both for birthdays.
The first one is using some of Stampin Ups designer paper that has bits of copper in the design. Each of the flowers were fussy cut before I colored the flowers with pink and green ink. I then layered an embossed piece of green vellum for the background. I then stamped a birthday sentiment on the inside.
This next card is one that we used to do by hand. It is called a twirling or spinner card. The main piece in the center used string or fishing line to make it twirl around, but now there is a special die that will do all of that for you. I used copic markers to color the vase and flowers and used a patterned paper for the background. I added a small birthday sentiment on the front and left the inside blank so that you can add your own message.

I love how this card turned out. The colors just say relax and watch the sunset.
I first stamped the trees and mountains with black and then embossed them with clear embossing powder to give it a little shine.
To create the sunset I colored the area where the sun is with yellow ink and then covered the area with a circle. My next step was to add more yellow around the card and then orange and then a deep red. I also added these colors into the water. I wrapped some twine on the bottom and attached the little hello sentiment.
Another card to send to someone and let them know you are thinking of them during this quarantine time.

This has been the strangest of times for all of us but I know we will all get through this dark time. For the most part I have been cleaning out my craft-room and rearranging things. The Goodwill stores are going to be so packed with items from all of us crafters they wouldn’t know what to do.
For this card I wanted to have a message that you could send to a loved one while we are all in quarantine from the coronvirus-19.
Getting back to what I was saying, this card can be for a loved one that you might not be able to visit at this time but it will bring a smile to their face and know that they are loved.
I used different shapes of purple for this card. The sentiment says,”Sending hugs and prayers and lots of love.” This card could even be used as a sympathy card.
