Welcome to my site. Look around and see if you like any of my creations.
I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale.
Don't forget to leave a little message as you pass on by.

This card could be for any age for a birthday and is quite simple to make. I used copic markers for most of it and a little bit of wink a stella to give it a little sparkle. I stamped the bird and blossoms with brown memento ink so that the color would not be so harsh.

Here are two examples of the black ice technique that is going around the stamping community. I know the images are on the dark side but I was going for you to be able to see the shine on the cards.
What you need for this technique is archival ink, versa mark ink, clear embossing powder and some kind of foil paper. In my examples I used gold and silver foil paper.
First you streak the foil paper with the black ink and you do this with a very light hand. Allow the ink to dry or zap it with your heat gun. Then you streak the stamped foil paper with versa mark ink and then coat with clear embossing powder. Again use your heat tool on the embossing powder and you will get a texture like black ice on the road. I have also seen this technique where the design is colored in. You can do this by using alcohol markers, you would just color in the design after using the versa mark ink and embossing powder.

My final card for Easter and onto Spring cards. This is my favorite card, it’s playful and elegant at the same time.
