Welcome to my site. Look around and see if you like any of my creations. I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale. Don't forget to leave a little message as you pass on by.

    Thankful Pumpkins

This card is a great versatile one that I made several different ways and I will show you them in the coming days.  I made this one for a friend who I am very thankful to have.

I used Stampin Up designer series paper and some lace and twine.  I notched the top and bottom of the card to add the lace and I punched a 2 inch hole in the center to make the paper go to the inside of the card.

    Scarecrow Thanksgiving

Ahhh! Can you feel the cool crisp air of fall.  This card will be for a Thanksgiving Day card for friends.  I used fall colors and a simple message of  “Give thanks in all you do.”  How many times do we go about our day and not really connect with what is really important to us.  Take a moment and thank someone for something they did for you.

Now back to my card.  I colored the scarecrow using copic markers and diecut the background for texture.  Added a simple message of Happy Thanksgiving on the inside.

Cat on a fence and Swirling Twirling Pumpkin

This card was created because we have a black cat which always seems to want to play on our staircase when we are walking up or down.  Don’t get me wrong she is a bundle of love when she wants to be.

There is a cute little haunted house and a full moon as the backdrop for this kitty, and on the inside is a ghost.

Now for my next card I call a swirling twirling pumpkin.  This card spins around when you open it.  I used a fine line of fishing line in between the pumpkin to give it it’s twirling mechanism.  I added the Happy Halloween sentiment on the bottom of the inside where you won’t be able to see it from the outside.

I made this card for one of my daughter’s friends as a surprise in the mail.  I’m sure she will love it.
