I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. Mermaid on a rock
This was a fun card to make, maybe because I enjoy coloring. I embossed the mermaid with a black glitter embossing powder so it sparkles, but it is hard to see.
For the background I used a light blue watercolor and lightly colored the sky. I used a teal blue and green for the fins of the mermaid and a light brown for the rocks.

Spotlight Lighthouse
This could be a masculine card or for any occasion. I stamped a lighthouse and then used a post-it note to cover the area I wanted to keep white. I then proceeded to use a light brown ink and in circular motions color in the area I didn’t want to stay white. I used a small ribbon and left the sentiment off but could easily be a Father’s Day, birthday or even a retirement card for someone.

Flamingo Shaker Card
Who doesn’t love to shake something on their birthday. Well why not make it a birthday card. This cute card was created using sequins and mini beads while the flamingo looks on.
