Welcome to my site. Look around and see if you like any of my creations. I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale. Don't forget to leave a little message as you pass on by.

    Mothers Day Bonnet n Shoes

Mother’s Day is almost here in the United States.  This card reminded me of the old fashioned days where the women wore gloves and heels to church.

I first embossed the white background with a daisy print and then die cut a hat and shoes.  I colored the hat and shoes and cut out a few flowers to add on the hat.  Little sentiment on the bottom letting the recipient know you are thinking of them.  For the inside a simple Happy Mother’s Day.

    Butterfly and Hearts Anniversary

The colors purple and white go together on this card just perfectly.  I have a few anniversary cards that I made this past month and am now just posting them.

I die cut a white butterfly and two hearts and mounted the hearts on a dark purple card stock and the butterfly on the card base of light purple.  Along one edge I added two rows of pearls and then I paper punched a lacy border to add along the other edge of the dark purple strip.

For the inside I added a sentiment,”May your love continue to grow stronger with each passing year.”

    Anniversary Flower Wreath

Flowers are such a wonderful way to say something to someone.  This card is a wreath of flowers and a sentiment in the middle.

I cut out the flowers and added them to a swirly frame to make the wreath.  I added color to all the petals and slightly bent each of the petals to go upwards.  I wanted the Happy Anniversary to stand out so I used black ink to make it pop.

For the inside I printed a sentiment of, “Sending you warm wishes on your anniversary, may you continue to grow older and happier together.”  A nice sentiment that would put a smile on anyone’s face.
