I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale.

I’ve been playing around again with some Easter cards. This first one is a chocolate bunny wishing everyone some Easter Blessings. The hardest part of this card happened to be sizing the outer ring for the egg. I embossed the center and used some scrapbook paper for the front.
For my second card I used a flower die cut and then created the chick from circle and heart paper punches. After I glued on the sentiment I decided that the sentiment needed to be darker so I will correct that later. Still these both turned out cute.

Cute, cute, cute, that’s all I can say about this card. I love the pastel colors of pink and green for that Spring look. I used an embossing folder for the front and cut out the front so that the bunny image can show through. The image was colored with watercolor pencils of pale pink and green. I then die cut the flower and leaves to give a little dimension to the card front. You can’t really see it but the lettering is made using vinyl that I cut out, the letters were a little tedious but well worth the wow factor. I left the inside blank so that a personal message could be added.

Like all fishermen they always talk about the one that got away. I made this card to show that sometimes they don’t get away. I first put fish on hooks along the side of the card and a few small ones dangling from some string in the front, but the main fish is the one in the back. I even left lots of room on the back to write a nice message about how the big one got away. Great card for any fisherman.
