Welcome to my site. Look around and see if you like any of my creations. I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale. Don't forget to leave a little message as you pass on by.

    He Is Risen Box Card

I made this card for several of my family members, it is called a box card.  I love how it can fold down to an A2 size and fit into an envelope with ease.

I first die cut all of the pieces and then inserted each layer to represent Jesus leaving the tomb.  I used wink a stella on Jesus to appear heavenly but its hard to see all the sparkle and I inked the edges of the rock.  On the back there is a small area to write a private message to someone like Happy Easter.

    Lighthouse Sympathy Card

This is the type of card I always have a hard time making.  Sympathy cards are my downfall, its hard to feel anything but sad for the person receiving the card but glad that you can create something for them to smile about.

I started out using some scrapbook paper for the background.  The paper kinda looks like the sea and sand and sky all in one.  The lighthouse was die cut and the seagulls were hand created.  I stamped a small sentiment on the bottom to finish off the front.

For the inside I stamped a small sentiment so that a personal message could be written on the inside.

He is Risen – Palm Leaves

I was inspired by this card while eating my lunch and had to go give it a try, it is an easel card using different shapes of purple.

I die cut the center out first and then added a stamped Jesus that is embossed with black ink.  I then stamped several palm leaves on the front and one on the inside.

For the inside I stamped Wishing you joy and love this Easter and then I stamped He is Risen and popped it up on dimensionals to hold the easel card in place.
