Welcome to my site. Look around and see if you like any of my creations. I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale. Don't forget to leave a little message as you pass on by.

    Gumball Birthday

I made this card to look like the old fashioned gumball machines that I remember seeing in the 5 and 10 cent stores when I was younger.  Not sure if they have them anymore due to all the hands touching the machines and of course spreading germs.

I die cut the machine out in red card stock and used the yellow layer to show thru to give it the vintage look.  I then filled the gumball machine with small beads to look like the gum.

For the inside I added a birthday sentiment and a little gumball machine in the corner.

    Hugs Sympathy Card

I know its always hard to tell someone how sorry you are for their loss, but why not do it with some beauty.

I found this die to be very beautiful and delicate.  I used gold foiled paper to cut the die out and I placed it on a simple black background. For the inside I used a sentiment that would let the recipient know you were thinking and praying for them. I was trying to let you see the gold paper and how simple the card really is to make.

    Penguin Snow

Today is a nice and chilly outside.  The snow is coming down with little sprinkles of flakes.  This birthday card would make any person who has a birthday during the winter months just smile with the playfulness of the penguins.

I die cut one of the penguins out and placed him close to the front of the card, kinda like he just fell over. The penguin in the background is having a blast going down the snow hills.

To add a little shimmer I used glue along the edges of the the hills and then added some glitter on top. I stamped the base of the card with little snow flakes.
