    Bunny in a Wreath

I have several cards that I have made using Stampin Up’s Paper Pumpkin kit for February 2024.  This kit was so fun to use that I bought a second one to create more spring cards.

I used a light pink for the card base and added the checked pattern on top. Next, I added a flower wreath which was in the kit and popped it up on dimensionals.  The bunny was a stamp in this month’s kit so I stamped the bunny then colored it’s ears with a light pink marker and popped the bunny up also on dimensionals.  I stamped Happy Easter which is another stamp in the kit and attached it to the bunny.  For the last bit of flare for the front I added a couple of white dots.

For the inside of the card I added a small trim of checked paper along the right side  and stamped the sentiment, “Wishing you a joyous Easter and a delightful Spring.”

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

This card was for my card group we had to do a card with a pet so I did this cute puppy dog.

I know as my kids were growing up they would get excited about their birthdays and count the days down to when their birthday was, that’s where the saying comes in, “Good things come to those who wait,” I would tell them in a few more days it will be your birthday.

I made the doghouse from first using an embossing folder like wood on red card stock and then adding a little black ink to show some age on the house. The dog was colored right on the background using copic markers.

For the inside I stamped a few balloons and the birthday sentiment.

    Happy Birthday Pop Up Cards

I made these cards for my son and my older sister since they both have the same birthday day.

I made my son’s card out of purple and yellow card stock and my sister’s out of pastel colors of pink, yellow, purple and light green.  I have to say the hardest part of these cards were trying to get the fold on the inside lined up just right, but I love how both of them turned out.
