This card came from a kit thru Stampin Up called Paper Pumpkin. It’s a subscription kit that comes every month. What I like about the kits is you don’t have to follow their directions and can add your own spin on the projects.
I love the different shades of blue with a pop of color from the flowers. The vase is a die cut that I stamped the pattern on and then popped it up.

Ever want to send a message to someone just to let them know you are thinking about them. Well with this card it would do just that.
I die cut the word hugs and the flowers and leaves out of black card stock and mounted the word on top of gold foil paper to give it shine. I left the inside blank so that it could be written for any occasion.

Its summertime where I live and at night I get to see fireflies glowing in my yard. They remind me of younger times when I was little and we would catch them in mason jars.
These fireflies are flying around a lantern. I die cut the smaller ones out of vellum and the larger one has wings of vellum. I sponged blue ink around the background and yellow around the lantern. I then die cut the lantern and added it on top of the yellow so that it looks like it is glowing. A very nice an easy card for the holiday weekend.
Happy Independence Day everyone!
