I made these cards from looking at sunsets. My first one is a Happy Anniversary card and then I loved how it turned out so I made a few more and added a different sentiment on the front and left the inside blank. I started out with a red ink pad then orange, then yellow, green and finally blue to look like water. I made sure that each color blended in with the next color as I was working my way down the paper. For the trees I used a die cut in black card stock.

This card came from a kit thru Stampin Up called Paper Pumpkin. It’s a subscription kit that comes every month. What I like about the kits is you don’t have to follow their directions and can add your own spin on the projects.
I love the different shades of blue with a pop of color from the flowers. The vase is a die cut that I stamped the pattern on and then popped it up.

Ever want to send a message to someone just to let them know you are thinking about them. Well with this card it would do just that.
I die cut the word hugs and the flowers and leaves out of black card stock and mounted the word on top of gold foil paper to give it shine. I left the inside blank so that it could be written for any occasion.
