I know I have been missing for awhile, it’s all due to a medical condition which makes typing painful. I still have been creating but it is difficult. One of my pleasures right now is card-making so I am working thru the pain as I create. I decided to post all of the cards I made this month all at once. So without further ado here are the cards.
First is Crazy Birds by Tim Holtz
My next card is a Father’s Day card. Our card club created this card together, it was created using origami techniques.

This card took a little more time then usual but it is a fun summer time card. I made the glass and lemonade out of yellow and clear vellum. On the left side of the card I used the bokeh technique using green and yellow ink and added a small sentiment. i used and actual straw that I trimmed down and made a die-cut lemon wedge and I inked up to give a little dimension.

Ahhh love is in the air… As a celebration of my son being in a wedding party for one of his friends I thought I would make this card for their wedding. It was not to hard to make, although it looks very hard. I embossed several of the panels and just glued them on top of the base. There is also several doves on the card that I used dimensionals to raise them up. If I make this one again I plan on using smaller pearls. There is plenty of space on the back for writing a message to the couple and best of all it folds flat in and envelope.
