Well today it is pouring rain like cats and dogs, the only good thing about the rain is my garden will love the extra water.
I was playing around with my watercolors today to create these two cards. I used the Derwent Intense Watercolors. This was my first time using them and I must say they really are intense. If you can afford the watercolors they would be great for your collection.
I used a butterfly die for the card front and then painted each of the butterflies wings. Added a little bling to their body and a sentiment and the cards were done. These would make a great gift for the end of year teacher gifts or a Spring or Summer birthday. As you can see this type of card can be made into several different sentiments, it could even be used as a Mother’s day card.

Sometimes life gets in the way of having fun and creating, well I’m here to say that is just what has happened to me these past two months. After a horrific swimming accident that ended in death of my cousin and then my husband becoming very ill, most of my time has been totally drained from me. I can now breathe again and hoping it will stay that way.
I made this card for my cousin that lost her son. I didn’t know it at the time but butterflies are her favorite.
I made this card for my sister in law who will be having two of her children getting married this year.

I am having so much fun using my Cricut this past week. I created this card in Design Space and turned it into a male birthday card. I inked the yellow tie to give it a little dimension. At the top I used some grey brads for the buttons and a little bit of glitter for the tie tack. I added some foam dots under the tie to give it a little poof . It is smaller then the usual A2 size ones I usually make but it will hold a gift card for that special male.
