Love Heart Gears and Cutout Happy Valentines Day

I had this die that I just loved that is gears in the shape of a heart so of course I needed to make a card with it. If you don’t know me very well I collect hearts,  I have always loved them and I am always drawn to them in any shape or form.   I even have a rock shaped like one.  Enough getting off the topic,  I added the word love on top in black and it just didn’t pop so I changed it out for the while love.  The inside was a scrap from cutting out letters for another project and I used that for the sentiment.

Kiss me and Amour 3D cards

Ahhh love is in the air once again can you feel it?  I was playing around with the 3D type cards and came up with these two cards.  The first is called Kiss me.  I used a doily and heart and die cut words kiss me.  The inside has the pop up I love you.

For my second card I cut out two little elephants and added some foam tape behind their ears to give it some dimension.  I put their trunks touching and some hearts to look like they are kissing. At the top I used the word Amour.  On the inside I used the same 3D I love you but also added the words Happy Valentine’s day.

    Heart swirls

Here is a fun little card that we made at my card club this past week, so simple but so cute.  This could be a Valentine card or a birthday, wedding you name it.  You could use any embossing folder that has a frame in the middle and just punch out a bunch of hearts, fold them in half and arrange in whatever fashion your heart desires.  The great thing about this card is that no two cards will look the same.  Thank you Mary for bringing this little card to us.  You can see the swirl frame better in the second picture.
