    Scarecrow and crows

I was doing a little experimenting with some watercolor markers to create a fall looking background, I used mainly oranges and yellows to look like a fall harvest.

As always my cards are for sale, just send me a message if you are interested in any of them.

World Card Making Day – Witches and Cats and Bats Oh My

Today is World Card Making Day, so in honor of this day here are a few Halloween cards.  If you put World Card Making Day in your search engine you will come across a ton of blogs with cards for today.

This card is a card that you can put a little flashing light behind it and it will light up like I show here.

For my next card I call it, The witch with a cauldron.  I made the bat out of black sparkly ribbon added a few sequins and used a spider web punch to make a border.

This final one is a spin off of our cat, Tippy, she loves to climb on things and just sit there.  I made the ribbon bat on this one also.  I fussy cut the pumpkins and stamped bare trees in the background.  For the inside I added a pumpkin and a few bats.

    Coffee Cup

I made my special braid on this card again. I just love how it adds a little something to the card.  I used coffee bean paper for the background and colored the cup with brown ink, then added glossy accents on the lid to make it shine. Who wouldn’t love this card with a coffee gift card enclosed on the inside.
