Last Day for Christmas in July

As you may know I have been away from my computer, believe me it’s killing me.  My arm is slowly getting better but when I use the computer it strains the tendons in my arm more and causes more pain; so I have to be patient and wait it out.

My first card is these three snowmen. I put them behind vellum that I embossed to make it look like snow coming down.  I added washi tape at the top in case someone wants to check out the snowmen under the vellum.

For my next card I used a stamp set I think from Stampedous.  This is my type of Christmas card, the way I feel Christmas should be celebrated.

    Cards for June

I know I have been missing for awhile, it’s all due to a medical condition which makes typing painful.  I still have been creating but it is difficult.  One of my pleasures right now is card-making so I am working thru the pain as I create.  I decided to post all of the cards I made this month all at once.  So without further ado here are the cards.

My next card is a Father’s Day card.  Our card club created this card together, it was created using origami techniques.

    Lemonade anyone?

This card took a little more time then usual but it is a fun summer time card.  I made the glass and lemonade out of yellow and clear vellum.  On the left side of the card I used the bokeh technique using green and yellow ink and added a small sentiment.  i used and actual straw that I trimmed down and made a die-cut lemon wedge and I inked up to give a little dimension.
