    Kitty Tangled in Christmas Lights

I received this stamp from one of the ladies at one of the card clubs I am involved in.  The main reason I took the stamp was because we have a black cat in our family and she would probably do just what this kitty did with the lights.

I first stamped the kitty and then colored her with markers, you can’t really tell by the picture but I used winkastella on the lights to make them look like they are on. I added a layer of patterned paper and the a layer of red card stock to make the picture pop.

For the inside I found this sentiment and thought it was perfect for the card.

    Birthday Kite

This card could be for anyone.  The kite flying in the air is so reminiscent of my childhood that I thought I would make this card.

I stamped the clouds and sun on the background and then the kites tail.  For the kite I first stamped then colored it and the popped it up so that it looks like it is floating in the air.

For the inside I used a sentiment for a carefree day.

A great card for someone who has a birthday in the Spring or Summer.

    Sympathy Iris

I just love how this card turned out.  Sometimes you just don’t know what it will look like until the very end.  This would put a smile on anyone’s face.

I first die cut three frames and stacked them on each other.  For the next step I stamped the iris in purple and green for the leaves on white card stock and then added the frame on top.  Layered some purple card stock behind the white and then added a little scrap book paper on the left.   I stamped with sympathy and added it on top of the frame and flower to finish off the front of the card.

For the inside I stamped the iris in the lower right corner and added a sentiment to finish off the card. i know that if I were grieving this card would definitely make things a little lighter knowing someone cared for me.
