Daffodil Birthday Two
I made this card to go with one of my card groups, the theme of course was flowers. I chose the daffodil from Stampin Up and I used three colors of ink for the flower. I used a leaf die to create the green background for a little texture.
I first stamped the flower with versa mark ink and then heat embossed the daffodil with white embossing power.
My next step was to color the flower using a pink, yellow and orange ink and blending brushes. After the coloring I used a paper towel to wipe the ink off of the white embossed areas. I added some pop dots to the back of the flower to pop it up on the card and then added a short sentiment on both the inside and outside so there will be plenty of room to write a birthday message.

Spring Gnome
For this card I used the print and cut feature in Design Space. I first printed all of the pop up pieces for the inside and then did the male and female gnomes. I left the front and inside blank so that it could be a just a note card or Hi how you doing or even a Spring birthday.
As you open the card the images start to pop up.

Daffodil Birthday
This is a rather simple card to make. All the work is done thru the card stock.
I don’t know about you but it’s starting to look like Spring around here, my daffodils are starting to bloom and it made me think of this card.
I used a deep green card stock for my base and then added a skinny black one and on top I added the daffodil design. You can’t really see it but I used Wink a Stella on the daffodils to give it a little shine.
Doesn’t this card just scream Spring.
A simple Happy Birthday sentiment at the top and then another sentiment on the inside.
