Here in the states it is starting to snow. It’s the day after Thanksgiving and many people are out shopping with the snow coming down. I decided to make a card instead!
I stacked two snowflakes one on top of the other for the dimension on this card. The bright red plaid paper makes the snowflake pop off of the page. For the center of the snowflake I added a rhinestone for a little bling on the card. The sentiment at the bottom I kept nice and simple but anything could go there to change the card to be a winter birthday. For the inside I added a sweet sentiment that I just love.

Needed to make a quick birthday card for a friend and this is what I came up with. I used white card stock and embossed the front but with a twist, I flipped the paper over and liked the background even better. You can see the texture in the photo much better.
The difference between embossed and debossed is embossing makes the pattern stick out whereas; debossed makes the pattern go into the paper.
I die cut a label and stamped Happy Birthday, added a few pearls and a couple strips of card stock and called it done. For the inside I added a sentiment which lets the recipient know the day is all about them.
