Welcome to my site. Look around and see if you like any of my creations. I am the mother of two grown children. I have always enjoyed scrap-booking and card-making and doing crafty things ever since I was a child, and I continue to be crafty whenever my time permits. If you are interested in a particular card let me know, some of my cards are for sale. Don't forget to leave a little message as you pass on by.

    Father’s Day Hat and Tie

Well Father’s Day is almost here and celebrations are beginning again.  As the states begin to reopen we still need to keep social distancing in mind for our own health, as well as, our loved ones.

This is created with mainly two colors of ink so anyone can recreate it.  I used night of navy and crumb cake inks.

I first stamped the background stamp that looks like tire treads.  The next step is to stamp the words “Happy Father’s Day,” on white cardstock and trim them out.

I then stamped the hat, tie and shoe on different pieces of scrap white cardstock and trimmed each one to either a square or rectangle.

For the last piece of detail I added some blue and white twine and added a simple bow at the top.

    Daisy – Thanks a Bunch

This card was inspired by Julie Davidson’s website.  I first die cut out the squares and then made the squares go over and under.  I added the fuzzy center to the daisy and a small bow at the bottom of the sentiment.

    Sunflower Cards

Today I have two different sunflower cards.

The first one is hard to tell but has a pale green patterned background and the sunflower is outlined in shiny gold and has the sentiment of thinking of you.

For the second card, I used layers of brown and white cardstock and then added dimensionals to pop the sunflower up off of the card. The second one could be used for a retirement or birthday card.
