Embossing with Real Leaves
I went outside the other day and as I was looking at the beautiful leaves I wondered if I could use a real leaf on a card. Here is what I did to create this card.
First, find a fresh leaf, I actually pulled mine off of our tree in the front yard.
Secondly, apply embossing ink to the back of the leaf where you can see the most veins of the leaf.
Lastly, press the leaf onto your paper and add embossing powder (I used white) over the inked areas. Then heat emboss your creation.
After heat embossing I used several colors of ink to get a fall color kinda feel for the card. I made my card into a get well type of card, but it could be made into any type of card.

Gnome Home for Christmas
Started making my Christmas cards and it is going pretty slowly. To much going on in my personal life but getting better.
I love gnomes and when I saw that Stampin Up had a Christmas set I just had to purchase the set.
I used copic markers to color the house and gnome. I popped the gnome up on dimensionals and added some cardstock for the background. Then I colored and added another gnome on the inside.

Peony Anniversary
For this card I added two die cut peonies in pink cardstock with pink ink added on the edges and two shades of green for the leaves. I used gray cardstock for the middle section to add some emphasis to the flowers.
