    Sunflower Cards

Today I have two different sunflower cards.

The first one is hard to tell but has a pale green patterned background and the sunflower is outlined in shiny gold and has the sentiment of thinking of you.

For the second card, I used layers of brown and white cardstock and then added dimensionals to pop the sunflower up off of the card. The second one could be used for a retirement or birthday card.

    Father’s Day Gas Can Cards

I made a couple of car related cards for Father’s Day, which is coming up soon here in the United States.

For these two cards I used gray, yellow, red, and black cardstock.  I stamped several car images with black and red in and added the sentiment “Happy Father’s Day.”

8 Cards from one 12 x 12 Sheet of Card stock

Today I wanted to show you two of the eight cards I created from one sheet of 12 x 12 card stock.  I love this paper from Stampin Up called Peaceful Poppies.

Poppies have always been in my family.  My grandmother grew poppies in her backyard and my parents were very active in the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) where they would sell poppy butteneers to help Veterans, so poppies have a special meaning to me.

I used dark purple for the card base and I embossed part of the inside of the white card stock with a floral design .

Here are two of the cards I created I made four of each design. On some of the cards I put sequins on and others I left plain. I made birthdays cards and get well cards.
