I thought this card would make a great graduation card. It is a flip card that opens to reveal a different picture in the circle.
I kept the colors pretty simple and the horse images were stamped in brown and the trees with garden green. No bling for this card just in case you would want to give it to a male. I did add a little twine to the left of the card on the front.

This card is for all the mother’s out there that won’t be with their children this year due to the corona virus. It has been an uphill battle all over the world but we are making progress.
I made this card with Stampin Up designer paper. I chose pink because it is one of my mother’s favorite colors.
The first thing I did was cut a circle for the neck and then cut a scallop circle just a little bigger to look like a collar. I added about a 2 inch rectangle of white card stock at the top and then added a strip of pink card stock to go down the front and added pearls for buttons.
For the inside I cut a couple of the flowers out of the designer paper and used the remainder of the card stock and put it to the bottom.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!

For the end of the month I thought I would post both of these cards since they are both for birthdays.
The first one is using some of Stampin Ups designer paper that has bits of copper in the design. Each of the flowers were fussy cut before I colored the flowers with pink and green ink. I then layered an embossed piece of green vellum for the background. I then stamped a birthday sentiment on the inside.
This next card is one that we used to do by hand. It is called a twirling or spinner card. The main piece in the center used string or fishing line to make it twirl around, but now there is a special die that will do all of that for you. I used copic markers to color the vase and flowers and used a patterned paper for the background. I added a small birthday sentiment on the front and left the inside blank so that you can add your own message.
