I made this card for my sister who has many grand kids and the first one is hitting her teens. Such a big period in her life. Well I didn’t want her to have a kiddie Valentine so I made this one to look like a makeup compact.
I die cut some simple shapes to look like a compact of eye-shadow and added a tube of lipstick on the bottom. Simple sentiment of Happy Valentine’s Day.
For the inside I added a bottle of nail polish on the bottom and a simple message of Hi there Valentine.

This is a new technique to me I had never heard of it until one of the ladies from my card group showed us out to create it.
If you look at the paper behind the daisy you will see how the stripes of paper look like someone has twisted the paper. I added a pink die cut daisy and a sentiment for those people who forget someones birthday.
For the inside I die cut the little flower and leaves and then stamped Happy Birthday. I left plenty of room so that a message could be added for why you forgot their birthday (Ha,Ha).

This card perfect for that Valentine in your life.
I die cut 5 layers of the scallop so that it would pop off of the page and then added silver sequins and red hearts to make the shaker. I added a key and lock at the bottom and put all of these items on a pink striped background paper.
For the inside a simple sentiment of Be my Valentine and a small red heart to finish the card off.
