This is a new stamp set thru Stampin Up called Love Cats and as soon as I saw the set I knew I had to have it since we have a black cat.

I used black card stock for the base and then layered a white and then a patterned red designer paper.  I then die cut a circle and stamped the kitty.  I heat embossed the black strip with white embossing powder and added a couple of red rhinestones to finish off the front.

For the inside of the card I stamped the kitty on a rope at the top and stamped the sentiment at the bottom.

I made this card for one of the card groups that I belong to.  The theme for the month was winter/friends so I did both. I left the inside blank so that you could send this out to anyone.

For this Valentine I wanted it to be for a younger child.

I embossed the background with a small flower pattern and then added some pink print paper on the bottom.  I die cut the owl out on a circle and added a larger red circle behind the owl.  I the colored the owl with brown, blue, and orange markers.  I die cut two banners to go in the back and a light purple square to accent the owl.  At the bottom I die cut a banner and stamped Hoot!Hoot! You’re so cute.

For the inside I added Be my Valentine with some hearts.
